Nutscene has been involved in the manufacturing and processing of jute garden twines since 1922. The Nutscene name is derived from their world renowned green garden jute twine which, when tied around the plant cannot be seen, thus "Not Seen" – 'Nutscene'. Jute garden twine is derived from the vegetables fibers (corchorus genus); making them safe and easy to compost. Nutscene patented the first "pull from center spool" of garden twine, which has been copied by many but never equaled.
First produced in Dundee, Scotland, the birthplace of the jute industry; today Nutscene operates out of a small mill yard in the heart of Angus, Scotland and still winds their twines using the same machinery first used in 1922. The ever popular, generous, No.3 roll of jute twine has 394 foot of soft, pliable and strong, 3-strand garden twine. You get 2 spools of BLACK per order.
Each roll can be easily carried and used from the pocket, leaving both hands free to tie. The special make up of each spool prevents tangles and ensures an easy running supply to the hand. Comes as a pack of 2 spools, and each spool is 3-Inch in diameter and 4.5-Inch long. Nutscene's products are natural and biodegradable, making them an environmentally friendly choice for gardening.
